Social Media Director at Temple Student Activities

August 2019–August 2021

Throughout my college career, I worked as the Social Media Director for Temple’s Student Activities Department. This role both challenged me and taught me how to successfully run social media accounts in ways that were most beneficial to the student body and surrounding community.

What my role consisted of:

As the Social Media Director for Temple Student Activities, I created content for the Department to use across social platforms and managed all digital media and graphics created by the department’s graphic designer. I worked with the Program Coordinator to sustain and improve the current voice of social media platforms by managing the social media strategy for Student Activities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms as needed.

In addition to that, I also utilized technical skills and passion for student involvement to communicate with the Temple University student body. Ultimately, my favorite thing about being the Social Media Director was using creative means to connect and engage students throughout the year, utilizing knowledge of campus events and trends!
