College Ambassador at Maybelline

March 2019–January 2020

As a longtime admirer of the world-renowned makeup brand Maybelline, I knew it would be an opportunity of a lifetime to serve as a College Ambassador for the company. Therefore, when I applied and received congratulations that I got the role, I felt like I struck gold because I knew I would learn so much that I could apply to future endeavors. ⇩

What my role consisted of:

As a Maybelline Campus Ambassador, I was in charge of increasing awareness of the Maybelline brand as well as building the Maybelline customer base by driving online traffic and sales at Temple University. By using social media, I promoted Maybelline's new make-up trends, products, and events for the company, ultimately driving sales and allowing students to have the ability to directly interact with the brand on campus!

NYFW

As a result of our exceptional work throughout the program, Maybelline gifted each campus ambassador the opportunity to serve as micro-influencers represented by the company at NYFW during the fall of 2019. We were able to participate in exclusive events, take professional content with the company’s social media team, and so much more!

On-Campus Events

Throughout the program, we were tasked with executing various on-campus activation events to encourage students to make Maybelline their #1 drugstore makeup brand. At these events, we were able to gather mailing list sign-ups while also promoting and giving away new Maybelline products to all students who attended!

Social Content

The most important aspect of the Maybelline College Ambassador program was creating engaging and impactful social media content to post to our individual social media accounts!
